Funded by the Drosos foundation, this project, was arranged by Fair Trade Lebanon (FTL), ventured into the heart of remote Lebanese corners – Akkar and South Lebanon. The mission was clear to alleviate poverty by empowering the unsung heroes of small-scale production. The journey unfolded in three powerful acts: championing Fair Trade principles, enhancing hygiene standards, and ushering in professional excellence. Notably, this initiative birthed a unified hub, a beacon of shared growth, nestled in the village of Fourzol, Bekaa, catering to all FTL producers.
