When Everything Feels Uncertain, a Meal Still Arrives
For families living across six shelters in Lebanon, each day carries at least one certainty: food will come.
That certainty translates into 1,200 meals prepared and delivered daily, over 36,000 each month. Behind these numbers is a coordinated effort led by Fair Trade Lebanon through the Sanadkoun / Soha w Hana project, supported by La Guilde and the project’s consortium, and funded by Le ministère de l’Europe et des Affaires étrangères.
The impact, however, extends beyond food provision. In contexts of displacement and instability, consistency matters. Knowing that meals will arrive brings a sense of stability to families adjusting to difficult and changing realities.
Working closely with local partners and communities, Fair Trade Lebanon ensures that support is not one-off, but an ongoing commitment. It is this continuity, day after day, that helps preserve dignity and ease the strain of uncertainty.
As needs evolve, Fair Trade Lebanon remains present on the ground, sustaining a reliable flow of support for the people who depend on it.
