Tarik Akhdar Project: A Visit Rooted in Impact and Sustainable Collaboration
Fair Trade Lebanon (FTL) recently welcomed a delegation from ADIE and SIDI for a key follow-up visit under Tarik Akhdar project, aimed at empowering rural communities through inclusive finance and sustainable development. The visit brought together partners including Al Majmoua, the General Directorate of Cooperatives, and Agence Française de Développement (AFD) to evaluate the success of Phase 1 and explore pathways for a potential Phase 2. The delegation connected with project beneficiaries and visited the inspiring women-led cooperative in Ferzoul–Zahle, a shining example of grassroots leadership and local resilience.
The visit also featured a valuable training session led by SIDI, focusing on Social and Environmental Performance, underscoring the project’s commitment to responsible, community-centered growth. An exchange that reaffirms the shared mission of building inclusive, sustainable futures for Lebanon’s rural communities.
Together, we’re growing green pathways. See more highlights from the event on our Instagram Page : https://www.instagram.com/p/DJjcFiZMJVR/?img_index=2
