Strengthening Resilience of Lebanese Civil Society in Order to Improve Crisis Prevention and Management – Shabake

Weaving Success: Empowering Women’s Networks through “SHABAKE.” This transformative initiative, funded by AFD and Danida, is organized by the collaborative prowess of Expertise France and Fair Trade Lebanon, centered in the heart of Bekaa. “SHABAKE” enhanced the socio-economic capacities for 950 resilient women within Lebanese communities and refugee circles. Our impact resonated through equipment provisions for five women-led processing cooperatives, enriched by agri-food technical acumen and marketing prowess for 40 vulnerable women. Amidst the Lebanon’s economic challenges, we extended a helping hand with nourishing food baskets, nurturing both sustenance and spirit, forging a tapestry of empowerment and resilience.
