Empowering Akkar’s Farmers Through Sustainable Agriculture – Phase 2
Building on Phase 1, the project continues to strengthen livelihoods by supporting 50 open-field farmers with inputs, technical coaching, and market access. It provides advanced training and in-kind support to 30 olive farmers, distributes fresh produce to 200 vulnerable households, and creates job opportunities through a cash-for-work program. The project also reinforces sustainability by supporting the local nursery and compost unit with improved, long-term business models.
