Expertise:
A 9-month program by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), funded by Germany through KfW Development Bank and implemented in partnership with Fair Trade Lebanon, is designed to strengthen the agriculture sector in Zgharta through local innovative solutions.
This initiative will support 40 agricultural entities, 3 cooperatives, and 60 farmers by providing training, technical assistance, and in-kind support to enhance productivity, sustainability, and economic resilience. By fostering modern agricultural practices and capacity-building, the project aims to improve efficiency, secure long-term growth opportunities, and contribute to a more resilient agricultural ecosystem in Lebanon.
