SILA – Skills and Innovation for Labor Advancement
SILA aims to support smallholder farmers and agri-producers in Akkar at every stage, from production to market access. The initiative operates on a three-fold approach: strengthening farmer capacities, enhancing post-harvest facilities, and expanding access to markets and digital platforms. To strengthen livelihoods, SILA focuses on understanding local market dynamics and producer needs, enhancing technical skills and knowledge for a resilient agriculture production, and fostering stronger market linkages to markets through networking, partnerships, and business opportunities.
Through innovative tools and collaborative efforts, the project aims to create a thriving, sustainable agricultural sector that benefits both producers and the wider Akkar community.
