Enhancing Gender Mainstreaming for Sustainable Rural Development and Food Security Actions – Gemaisa II

The GEMAISA Initiative, embodied by Fair Trade Lebanon, is a beacon for elevating the skills and capacities of rural women across diverse domains, nurturing their prowess in micro and small business management. Our role entailed a multifaceted approach: meticulously gauging training needs, crafting and delivering 42 tailor-made training programs to 7 engaged cooperatives, unraveling the hidden potential of markets, offering insightful recommendations for product development, and orchestrating social media packages for each cooperative. In this transformative journey, our purpose resonated, to embolden women, opening pathways to markets, amplifying product sales, and nurturing robust business acumen.
