Starting an agricultural project to ensure self-sufficiency for SOS children’s villages- Lebanon

Nurturing Sustainability Together: In collaboration with SOS Children's Village in Kfarhay and funded by the Austrian Embassy, our project focused on strengthening food security. Through an innovative agricultural initiative, we aimed to enhance self-sufficiency in fruits and vegetables, minimizing food costs and expanding access to fresh produce within SOS Children's Village. By harnessing the potential of existing lands and advanced water filtration systems, we created a more resilient future. Furthermore, our efforts extended to optimizing the productivity of a cooperative comprising 40 chickens, ensuring a thriving and sustainable agricultural ecosystem.
