GREEN&FAIR Initiative Drives Economic Change in the Southern Mediterranean

The Southern Mediterranean region is witnessing a shift toward green economics with the Green & Fair project. Spearheaded by Fair Trade Lebanon, this project focuses on empowering vulnerable communities—especially women, youth, migrants, and refugees—to embrace sustainable agricultural practices. Participants receive training in organic farming, soil management, and climate adaptation, along with support in accessing market channels. The project, spanning Lebanon, Egypt, and Palestine, not only fosters skill acquisition but also champions fair trade practices, aiming to secure a sustainable future for communities hit hardest by climate change.
