Akkar Rural Development Initiative (Ardi)

Blossoming Agribusiness with ARDI. Crafted under the auspices of the European Union and expertly nurtured by Expertise France, this endeavor found its lifeblood through the dynamic collaboration of Fair Trade Lebanon (FTL), Rene Moawad Foundation (RMF), and MADA Association, harmonizing its pulse within Akkar’s verdant embrace. The Agriculture Rural Development Initiative (ARDI) emerged as the agribusiness cornerstone within the Private Sector Development Program, weaving vitality into Akkar’s fabric. As tender caretakers, FTL lent its support to cultivate and harvest a wealth of five vegetables: tomatoes, pumpkins, lettuce, peppers, and the cherished “mloukhieh.”
