AFD Delegation in Lebanon to Launch the Aradina Project for Agroecology and Rural Development

A delegation from the Agence Française de Développement (AFD) visited Lebanon to officially launch Aradina project, an initiative dedicated to promoting agroecology and rural development. The project is implemented in partnership with Fair Trade Lebanon, CIHEAM Montpellier, and Action Against Hunger. 

During their visit, AFD representatives met with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), cooperatives, and key institutional stakeholders, including the Ministers of Environment and Agriculture. These exchanges aimed to foster sustainable partnerships and strengthen support for rural communities across Lebanon. With ecological practices at its core, ARADINA project sets the stage for a more sustainable agricultural future rooted in innovation, inclusion, and environmental responsibility.
